There are so many wonderful things to do on Île d'Orléans, and one of the best is visiting the Parc maritime de Saint-Laurent. In addition to its superb view of the River and the south shore, this enchanting site offers day visitors to the island an opportunity to explore its fascinating heritage. Did you know that at one time some 400 longboats were built in Saint-Laurent-de-l'Île-d'Orléans every year? You can still smell the sawdust! Whether alone or with friends or family, come drop anchor and stay a while!
