Immerse yourself in our maritime history with the exhibition Le grand large which tells the story of the Gaspé Peninsula in 15 boats and the adventures of the seafarers, without forgetting the famous Gaspésienne No. 20, this authentic cod fishing boat!
Animations are offered during the summer season and the outdoor site is also worth a visit. See the monument to Jacques-Cartier and the replica of the cross he planted in 1534.
The Museum also houses a regional products boutique and the Gaspesie Archives Center. It publishes the Gaspesie Magazine which reveals the history of our region.
