AESOP’S DREAM
If Aesop (c. 620 BCE – c. 560 BCE) were alive today, a visit to the Bioparc would have surely inspired many a fable. With wolves, foxes, river otters, lynx, moose, raccoons, coyotes, cougars, beavers, black bears, woodland caribou, harbour seals, birds, amphibians, reptiles and more, the Bioparc houses an impressive menagerie of orphans and survivors that can no longer live in the wild, providing an incredible opportunity to see Quebec fauna up close.

Discover surprising facts about creatures big and small—insects, marine invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles, and cervids—and the tracks they make! The hands-on activities Hands Full of Insects, Between Two Tides, Mysterious Creatures, What Antlers Do I Wear? and Who Is Behind These Traces? make learning a blast!
Dare to spend the night in the wild, with Overnights with the Wolves. In the black of night, try to make out the distinct sound of bats in flight or even an owl’s haunting hoot, and bask in the beautiful, natural surroundings.
